What we do
Canines Assisting Service Heroes is a unique program within the state of Delaware that provides a fully trained service dog to honorably discharged United States armed forces Delaware residents diagnosed and suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) or Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) . In addition to providing the service member with a companion for life, the program also sets up a care plan with the recipient’s veterinary doctor.
Keys to Success
100% of all donations are placed directly to the service dog program. The proven track record of Chapter 850 Vietnam Veterans of America and the dedication of its members to the VVA motto “Never again will one generation of veterans abandon another” is the true key to success of the CASH program. Every member of the organization is dedicated to helping their fellow vets in this special way.
